MD Andy Burridge first started investing in residential property back in 2014, acquiring a few two bedroom flats at a discounted rate.
Andy’s career has been in the fire and security sector, rising from an Engineer, through to Sales and eventually being promoted to MD with ARC Fire Safety & Security. Andy still runs this business today, which turns over around £3.5 Million.
Andy decided to sell the flats around 2022 due to serious structural issues and the need to relocate a family tenant. He then formed ABCAN Property Holdings Ltd, choosing to make all future acquisitions through a limited company in response to changes in property-related tax laws.
Since formation, ABCAN has invested in several projects, including two with Luke Jellico (Charlie Homes) and one with Arthur Dallimer (Burderop Ltd). ABCAN will consider further investments that fit the company’s model and is open to discussions with external investors looking for returns beyond high-street savings.
In 2019, Andy also acquired a part share of an office building via ABS Property Holdings Ltd in partnership with Alan Simpson.
